Course Description
Introduction to fundamental concepts of machine learning in an engineering context. Students will learn foundational mathematical principles underlying machine learning, select and implement machine learning algorithms, and evaluate and improve the performance of models. Special attention is given to engineering problems, including those involving time series data and dynamical systems.
