The degree programs in the school carry special enrollment limitations. Please see the BYU Marriott School of Business Undergraduate Advisement Center for specific details.
The Discipline
The Experience Design and Management major is comprised of a 21-credit core of classes and a variety of elective courses focused on specific career paths. Students in ExDM learn how to design, deliver, and manage experience journeys. Our versatile students employ interdisciplinary design principles, management science, and positive psychology to deliver impactful experiences across diverse contexts.
The interdisciplinary nature of ExDM allows students the opportunity to complete not only their departmental coursework but also learn from BYU Marriott courses as well. BYU Marriott courses prepare students in the areas of leadership and management skills, accounting and finance, marketing, human resources, andcurrent societal issues and trends related to experience-based choices and behaviors.
