Course Description

Introduction to the professional design community and the options available to industrial designers, with the aim of preparing students to be full participants in and contributors to design culture. Insight into potential internships, a variety of careers, and different environments where employment can be pursued. Participation in workshops, visits to historical and contemporary design sites, and, potentially, pursuit of research activities.
