Course Description

Theory and application of occupational sampling methods that are used to evaluate chemical, biological, and physical exposures in the workplace. Focus on the quantitative and qualitative methods used to evaluate occupational exposures to suspended particulates, gaseous contaminants, noise and other physical agents, and biological agents; interpretation of sampling results; identification of appropriate control strategies to prevent hazardous exposures; and exposure assessment communication.
